In this episode Flighty whips up a batch of her Vanilla Cocktail Cream, a decadent topper for after dinner drinks such as the Brandy Alexander, Angel’s Tit, or San Francisco specialty, the Irish Coffee. This episode is the first of two needed to make the Flighty Deluxe White Russian and contains a helpful mixing technique using the spring from the Hawthorne Shaker. The recipe is lightly sweetened with raw sugar and flavored with a hint of vanilla; minced candied ginger also adds a intriguing dimension–perfect for use on top of pie or other desserts.
